TIANANMEN

China's Tiananmen Square incident was a series of rallies and demonstrations in the spring of 1989 that ended with a government crackdown on the protesters in Beijing's Tiananmen Square on the evening of June 3–4.

In China, economic reforms were made in the 1980s, but political reforms were not implemented. With the Economic Reforms, the economy had grown, but unemployment and inflation has increased greatly. Also, corruption cases were disturbing the people. The people wanted democracy and freedom of expression. Hu Yaobang was a supporter of political reforms and after his death on April 15, 1989 students that demanding reforms began protests. In the following days, the protests would increase with the participation of workers and civilians. This situation did not please the Chinese government and difficult days awaited the people.

In this edition of MUNB, delegates of TIANANMEN committee are expected to handle demonstrations and deal with the military to ensure their survival in the face of China's brutal attacks, while also properly acknowledging history and developing multitasking skills.
